Biography

Kewakebet Girma is an Associate in MLA’s Mining and Energy Practice. Her role includes writing legal opinions, drafting and reviewing different kind of contracts, conducting legal research, liaising the office with different government offices.

Selected Experience

• Conducted jurisdictional legal due diligence on the employment laws of Ethiopia for a Japanize company looking for a local partner to source its products.
• Conducted a limited due diligence on companies located in different parts of Ethiopia to a company based in Morocco before the conclusion of a lease agreement.
• Assisted Embassies Based in Addis Ababa on employment and property law matters.
• Drafted and reviewed employment contract to a number of companies and wrote legal opinions on different matters.
