Biography

Wakitola Chachu is an Associate in MLA’s Corporate and Tax Practice. He has also been an intern at different institutions .Before joining MLA, From November 2016 to April 2018, he was serving as a paralegal at Addis Ababa University, Centre for Human Rights and School of law, rendering free legal aid service for the disadvantaged and indigent group of the society.

• LL.B, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, with Very Great Distinction (2019).
• LLM, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, with Very Great Distinction (2022).

Selected Experience              

• Contributed in the World Bank Group Survey on the Ethiopian doing business for the past two Consecutive years. 
• Assisted in the incorporation of different multinational corporation in Ethiopia.
• Provided legal opinion for a number of foreign investors on Ethiopian investment law and different tax incentives in the country.
• Preparing and reviewing various corporate documents.
• Assisted the MLA team in the various legal due diligence.
