Dawit Worku is a Trainee Associate at MLA with a distinguished academic and practical background. Having joined MLA following a successful internship, he brings a deep understanding of MLA’s practice and operations. Dawit’s professional foundation is further strengthened by prior internships at a leading corporate law firm and a Regional High Court, providing him with a comprehensive perspective on both commercial transactions and judicial proceedings. During his stay at Hawassa University, Dawit actively participated in a range of extracurricular initiatives, including designing and implementing student-led projects, providing free legal aid services, and serving as a research assistant to a university-affiliated scholar. He also held leadership roles in student organizations and participated in both internal and international moot court competitions, notably the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competitions, which is considered the largest of its kind globally.
