Debora Belachew is an Associate at the Corporate and Tax Practice at Mehrteab & Getu Advocates LLP. She has experience in various domestic and cross-border transactions, including general corporate governance, corporate and commercial transactions, foreign investment, taxation, competition, acquisitions, due diligence, data protection, and digital assets. Before joining MLA, she served as a volunteer at the Haramaya University Legal Clinics Program. Debora was the Program Coordinator for the Female Law Students and Legal Professionals Network. She participated in the 31st Christof Heyns African Human Rights Moot Court Competition. At Haramaya University, she was the champion, best memorial winner, best oralist, and best female oralist of the 5th Moot Court Competition. During her final year of study, she completed her externship at MLA. Debora holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Haramaya University, where she graduated with very great distinction as a gold medalist.
