Nahom Melese is a Trainee Associate at Mehrteab & Getu Advocates LLP (MLA) with proven academic excellence and hands-on legal experience. He earned his LL.B. from Addis Ababa University where he complemented his studies with internships at various local law firms and gained hands-on experience on legal practice. He also provided free legal aid service through Addis Ababa University’s Legal Aid Centers and served as an assistant editor-in-chief of Addis Ababa University Student Law Review. He further distinguished himself in international moot court competitions, representing Addis Ababa University in the 32nd William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the Nuremberg Moot Court (2024). At MLA, he assists clients in handling wide range of commercial disputes. He also advises and provides opinions on corporate and tax matters.
