Biography: Yabsera Alemneh is an Associate at MLA with a strong academic background in law. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Bahir Dar University, where she was actively involved in the Legal Clinics Program as a volunteer. She later pursued a Master of Laws in Commercial and Company Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. During her time at Bahir Dar, Yabsera competed in the 5th National Moot Court Competition on International Humanitarian Law and the 20th All African Competition in International Humanitarian Law. At Erasmus University, she represented the institution in the 30th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Before joining MLA, Yabsera served as an assistant lecturer at Bahir Dar University School of Law, where she also coached the university's team in the 1st and 2nd FIS International Humanitarian Law Moot Court competitions.

- Prepared various legal opinions on various Corporate and Finance, Mining, Employment, Technology issues.
- Advised several clients on sovereign debt and related matters.
- Assisted clients in several corporate and finance cases.
- Prepared due diligence reports.
- Assisted mining company in negotiating with the Ministry of Mines and reviewing mining agreement.
- Conducted an investigative report related to bribery and anti-corruption laws.
- Drafted and reviewed various legal documents such as shareholder agreements, lease agreements, Service Agreements, resolutions, various contracts, etc.
